Take Action
There are a lot of things you can do to help the animals who are subjected to cruel and painful experiments every year. You don’t have to be a kale-eating tree-hugger to live a cruelty-free life. You can make small changes to live a less harmful life. Here are some ways that you can help:
1. Support Humanely Manufactured Products
Don’t buy products tested on animals. There are affordable alternatives that are widely available in South Africa. Every sale from a BWC endorsed range is one less from a company that tests on animals. All companies listed on our Humane Guide have been audited by Beauty without Cruelty and certified as humane and ethical. Support these companies and tell your friends.
2. Make Your Consumer Voice Heard
Write letters or use social media to reach out to companies who test on animals and tell them why you will no longer support them. Phone your local radio station or write letters to the newspaper to help bring animal testing into the spotlight and to encourage people to oppose it. Every bit helps.
3. Petition
Keep an eye on our website and social channels, or sign up to our newsletter for BWC organised petitions or create your own.
4. Join our Protests and Events
Beauty without Cruelty holds several protests to oppose animal testing and needs as many people as possible to attend. You can also support by supporting BWC fundraisers.

5. Tell your Friends & Family

6. Donate
Beauty without Cruelty is a non-profit organisation and survives solely off donations from the public. Along with the funds we need to conduct our investigations, the printing of our magazine for members, leaflets, flyers, outreach material, educational events and more. You can support us in a number of ways from becoming a member, donating goods, buying our merchandise or simply by direct cash donations. Donate regularly and become a BWCSA Member by simply filling in our member form. Note: Company and 10 year memberships are tax deductible, as are donations.
7. Encourage Companies to Apply for Endorsement
