Fifty-One Years of Defending Animals

Through peaceful and lawful means, we expose and oppose all cruelty to animals. Established in 1975.

Who we are

An animal rights organisation

Beauty Without Cruelty is an animal rights organisation with a primary objective to educate and inform the public about the exploitation, abuse and suffering of animals — and to offer humane, non-animal alternatives to replace cruel and harmful lifestyle choices.

Animal rights is the freedom to live a natural life — free from human exploitation, pain and suffering, and premature death.

Animal welfare seeks to reduce suffering while exploitation continues; animal rights rejects the exploitation itself. Welfarists work with what is, while Rightists work toward what should be.

How we work

Education first. Pressure where it counts.

We work through education, legal intervention, protest, and the lobbying of central, regional and local government — always by peaceful and lawful means.
