Description

Fireworks may be a spectacle for some, but for animals, vulnerable individuals, and the environment, they are a nightmare. Every festive season, the loud explosions of fireworks cause widespread panic and trauma. Dogs and cats flee their homes in terror, wild animals are displaced, and communities, particularly those with PTSD sufferers and children, experience undue stress. This is not a celebration—it’s harm disguised as tradition.

The Problem

  • Animals suffer from acute stress and injuries, often running away and getting lost or injured.
  • Vulnerable community members, including the elderly, children, and individuals with anxiety disorders, endure the loud and disruptive noise.
  • The environment suffers from pollutants and debris left behind, which harm wildlife and ecosystems.

Our Vision

We believe in celebrating with compassion. Our Silent Nights, Peaceful Lives campaign aims to:

  • Advocate for stricter legislation to regulate or ban the use of fireworks.
  • Educate the public about the negative impacts of fireworks on animals, people, and the planet.
  • Provide resources for safe and animal-friendly celebrations.

What We’re Doing

  • Collaborating with lawmakers to push for legal reform.
  • Running public awareness campaigns highlighting the harmful effects of fireworks.
  • Partnering with community leaders to promote firework-free celebrations and introduce alternatives like laser or drone light shows.
